The process of collecting DNA samples from participants for a beauty DNA test is completely painless and takes about 4-6 minutes. Commonly, the DNA sample used in the genetic test is an oral swab taken with a cotton swab (cheek buccal epithelium sampling), also called a saliva test (standard cheek-swab samples).
